On the Hollywood Walk of Fame, unidentified men destroyed Donald Trump's star. This was announced on Twitter by The Academy Music Business.
The reason for this is unknown. Presumably, this is due to protests that swept dozens of US cities and are accompanied by riots, vandalism, and attacks on the police. It all started after the death of a George Floyd, who died after a gross arrest in Minneapolis (Minnesota).
This is not the first case of an act of vandalism against a star of the 45th US president. So, in July 2018, an unknown man came to the Walk of Fame with a guitar case, pulled out a pickax from it, and smashed the monument into crumbs. Then the attacker called the police on his own and left. Later it became known that the man surrendered to the guards. A few days later, a guard of two soldiers in the uniform of the Soviet army appeared near the Trump star. The actors stood in caps with earflaps and pea jackets, despite the hot sun. One of them was holding the Russian flag.
A memorial sign with the name of Trump was installed near the Dolby movie theater in 2007. He was awarded the lead on his own television show The Apprentice.
