In North Korea, sharply spoke about US policy: details

North Korea on Thursday, October 10, warned that “patience is ending,” and threatens to intensify provocations after the disruption of nuclear talks with the United States, reports Voice of America.

The warning is the latest evidence that North Korea is returning to a more aggressive stance after leaving the first months of substantive negotiations.

In a statement by the Korea Central News Agency, the United States is accused of organizing a meeting of the UN Security Council this week, which condemned the recent launch of DPRK missiles.

A spokesman for the DPRK Foreign Ministry called the meeting a “brutal provocation” of the United States. He also condemned recent tests of an intercontinental ballistic missile in the United States.

“Our patience is running out, and there is no guarantee that what we are holding back from will last forever,” the statement said. “The launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile in the United States was clearly aimed at putting pressure on us.”

North Korea pulled out of the negotiations at the working level last week, accusing the United States of not bringing any new ideas to help break the deadlock.
