In China sharply responded to U.S. accusations over coronavirus

China harshly criticized U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for saying about the origin of the coronavirus from Wuhan laboratory. The State Central Television of China called the words Pompeo “crazy” and “full of lies”.

The broadcast said U.S. politicians began to “dump the blame on China” and “suppress China at a time when their own anti-epidemic activities are a total mess”.

In addition, China's official Global Times newspaper said in an article that Pompeo had no proof of the virus's origin from a laboratory in Wuhan and was “bluffing. The publication accused President Donald Trump's administration of “an unprecedented propaganda war and attempts to impede global efforts against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Back in March, Pompeo said that the Chinese authorities had allowed hundreds of thousands of infected people to leave Coronavirus-inflicted Wuhan. According to Pompeo, it was because of China's actions that “danger arose not only for the Chinese but also for people around the world.

Then in early May, the Secretary of State said that there is a huge amount of evidence that the source of the new coronavirus COVID-19 is the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
