The head of state said that the military will be entrusted with sanitary, protective and logistic functions. Macron emphasized that France was at war because of the COVID-19 epidemic.
As a result, the French president supported the idea of the head of the General Staff and announced the operation вЂњPersistenceвЂќ. In parallel, the country is conducting Operation Sentinel, in which the military is fighting terrorism.
Macron called to unite in confronting the coronavirus and promised that the French health system will be heavily financed.
