Secretary of State of the United States of America Michael Pompeo said on Friday that between the United States and Montenegro, due to which, according to US President Donald Trump, the third world war could begin, a $36 million deal in defense would be signed, which involves the supply of military cars. This was reported by Reuters.
“The US is looking forward to (delivering) $36 million worth of light tactical vehicles to our NATO ally as soon as this agreement is signed,” said the US Secretary of State.
According to Pompeo’s Twitter page, he met with Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic on Friday.
Recall, the Montenegrin Foreign Minister Serjan Darmanovich said that Russia was trying to prevent Montenegro from joining NATO, greatly influencing the country's internal affairs.
Recall, on June 7, 2017, at the NATO headquarters in Brussels, the national flag of Montenegro was hoisted in recognition of the country's admission to the North Atlantic Alliance.
