According to the results of September, former U.S. President Donald Trump overtook the current leader of the States Joe Biden in terms of voter approval. This is reported by The Hill with reference to the data of the Harvard — Harris Center survey.

According to the results of the survey, 48% of voters support the former President of the United States, while 46% of Americans choose Biden. 51% of respondents said they believe that Trump was a better president than Biden.

The publication notes that the ratings of the current U.S. president began to decline amid an increase in the incidence of COVID-19 and the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan.

Earlier, Biden's approval rating fell to a minimum and amounted to 46% after the radical Taliban movement came to power in Afghanistan.

In comparison with a similar poll conducted on August 13, the president's support rating fell by 7%. Then the head of state was supported by 53% of Americans.
