Biden forgot the name of the Australian prime minister | Video

The head of the White House embarrassed himself at an event involving the United States, Britain, and Australia by forgetting the name of the Australian leader.

U.S. President Joe Biden forgot the name of Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison. The American leader showed "ingenuity" by calling him "the guy on the opposite side," "buddy" and "Mr. Prime Minister." This was reported by The Guardian.

The confusion occurred during the official announcement of the trilateral security and defense partnership between the U.S., Britain, and Australia, AUKUS.

During a videoconference, the three leaders announced that the trilateral deal would include helping Australia build nuclear-powered submarines.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson also attended the event.

Recall that Joe Biden forgot the name of the Secretary of Defense during the White House announcement of the appointment of two female generals.
