The foreign ministers of the 27 EU member states at an emergency meeting in Zagreb on Friday welcomed the armistice agreement reached by the Presidents of the Russian Federation and Turkey Vladimir Putin and Tayyip Erdogan in Syrian Idlib and called on the parties to implement it immediately. In addition, the Foreign Ministers strongly condemned AnkaraвЂ™s use of the Syrian refugee problem to achieve its political goals, saying that this is unacceptable to the EU.
