Hundreds of police officers in Seattle may be fired due to refusal to be vaccinated

In Seattle, Washington, 200 police officers who refused to be vaccinated against the COVID-19 coronavirus were under threat of dismissal. This is reported by Fox News.

According to the decree of the Washington government, most public employees must be vaccinated by October 18, or they will be dismissed. According to the Seattle Police Officers Guild, about 20% of the staff — about 200 people who oppose vaccination and the transfer of personal medical data-may fall under the order.

"The Guild cares about the safety and well-being of all our members, including those who have personal beliefs. Our community is already experiencing a personnel crisis in the Seattle Police Department. Given this experience, which has led to an alarming wave of crime, can Seattle now suffer more losses among police officers because of the mayor's vaccination order?" the guild said in an official statement.

According to the Seattle authorities, the count of civil servants who has been vaccinated will begin in the coming days. At the same time, it is noted that the dialogue with the police and firefighters about mandatory vaccination continues.

Virologists from Rockefeller University in Washington have revealed an "iron" immunity in those who have undergone COVID-19.
