Biden extended the state of emergency for a year due to the threat of interference in the election

Head of the White House Joe Biden has extended the state of emergency for another year due to the threat of foreign interference in the U.S. election.

Recall, the relevant regime was introduced on September 12, 2018. In fact, it serves as a legal basis for the imposition of various sanctions against other states.

“I am extending for one year the national emergency regime declared by Executive Order 13848 regarding the threat of foreign interference in or undermining public confidence in the U.S. election,” Biden said.

In this case, the head of state said in a statement that U.S. authorities have no evidence of interference by a foreign government, which somehow changed the outcome of the U.S. election.
