Coronavirus was detected in two health workers of Los Angeles airport
Both doctors, whose tests were positive, examined and checked passengers arriving in the United States from China and other countries.
Coronavirus was detected in two employees of the Federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, who tested passengers for symptoms of illness at the Los Angeles International Airport. On Friday, March 6, Reuters reported.
The employees of the CDC were quarantined until March 17.
An outbreak of disease caused by the new coronavirus was recorded in late December 2019 in the Chinese city of Wuhan. It was recognized by the World Health Organization as an epidemic with multiple outbreaks and an international emergency. Outside China, South Korea, Iran, and Italy are the countries most affected.
Earlier on Friday, U.S. President Donald Trump signed a bill to provide the U.S. administration with $8.3 billion to fight the spread of coronavirus.
