In the US, an angry man shouted at a correspondent on the air
NBC News correspondent Shaquille Brewster was talking live about the consequences of Hurricane Ida when an angry man ran up to him and started shouting in his face. The TV channel subsequently published a video of the incident separately.
The footage shows a passerby running towards the journalist. The latter ignored him for a while and continued to talk about the hurricane. Shortly after he finished speaking and turned around, a man ran up and shouted in his face, “pass it exactly”.
Later, the correspondent wrote on his Twitter that he and the film crew were not injured.
Earlier, Taliban militants demanded that CNN journalist Clarissa Ward, who is reporting from the scene of events in Kabul, cover her face with a handkerchief. She also spoke about verbal attacks by the Taliban. During a live broadcast from the Kabul airport, the Taliban began shouting at her in the presence of producer Brent Suels, who demanded that she cover her face. At the same time, one of the men was holding a “huge homemade whip” in his hands.
