Prince Harry and Meghan Markle can name a racist from the royal family

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are considering naming a member of the royal family who asked about the skin tone of their unborn child during the Duchess of Sussex's first pregnancy. This is reported by the Daily Mail.

According to the publication, this is stated in the latest version of the book by royal biographers Omid Scobie and Catherine Durand “In search of Freedom”, dedicated to Harry and Meghan — which will be published next week. The tabloid got acquainted with the new epilogue of the book, leaked to the network. Several sensational statements will be made in it.

In particular, the new edition of the book says that the couple may in the future reveal the name of an older member of the royal family who, during Meghan Markle's first pregnancy, asked Prince Harry about the likely skin color of the unborn child. They talked about this case with TV host Oprah Winfrey in an interview in March of this year. Then the TV presenter was outraged by this manifestation of racism, but the couple kept silent about who exactly asked such a question.

In addition, biographers say that Buckingham Palace was “internally glad” that Meghan Markle was absent from the funeral of Prince Philip in April this year because they were afraid that the Duchess would make a scene. The book also criticizes the staff of the royal administration, who launched an investigation into the mistreatment of Meghan Markle with her subordinates, while there was no such response to the Duchess's complaints about racism.

For the first time, the book “In search of Freedom” about the married life of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was published on August 11, 2020, on the website of the publishing house HarperCollins.
