Prince Harry has signed a contract with the British publisher Penguin Random House to publish four books with his memoirs. This is reported by the Daily Mail newspaper, citing sources.
It is noted that the second book will be published only after the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain.
The Duke of Sussex's official statement referred to only one book. After learning that there would be three more books, the British began to think that the queen would not want to approve the publication of her grandson's memoirs.
According to the newspaper, Prince Harry put his records up for auction. The initial bid was $25 million, it is assumed that the final one will reach about $40 million.
It is clarified that the Duke's wife Meghan Markle also signed a contract with Penguin Random House to publish her own book — a guide to a healthy lifestyle.
Earlier it was reported that Prince Harry received $20 million from the publisher for his memoirs. The Daily Mail conducted a survey among British citizens, two-thirds of whom said that they were “not at all interested” in reading the duke's frank memoirs.
