Prince Harry is going to release a memoir about life in the royal family. This is reported by Page Six.
According to sources of the publication, the youngest grandson of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain secretly worked on the book for about a year together with journalist J. R. Moehringer. Initially, it was assumed that the manuscript would be transferred to the Penguin Random House publishing house in August, but later the deadline was moved to October of this year.
“In an intimate and honest memoir written by one of the most interesting and influential world figures of our time, Prince Harry will tell for the first time about the experiences, adventures, losses and life lessons that helped him form,” the book's announcement says. The memoirs will cover the life of Elizabeth II's grandson from childhood to the present day, including military service in Afghanistan and the experience of fatherhood. Experts do not rule out that with the help of the book, Prince Harry will be able to tell his story of “Megzita”.
The release date of the memoirs is tentatively scheduled for the end of 2022. In addition to the paper version, an audiobook will be released. The amount of the transaction was not announced, but, according to the publisher, the proceeds will go to charity.
Earlier in the documentary series “My Invisible Side”, Harry told Oprah Winfrey that after the death of his mother, he did not wait for help from relatives. According to him, they believed that he should cope with his own experiences and with the pressure of the press. The prince admitted that he abused alcohol and suffered from panic attacks.
