The Cuban authorities have increased the quarantine for those entering to two weeks. The situation with the incidence of COVID-19 is rapidly deteriorating on the island.
Foreigners traveling independently will have to be isolated for 14 days after arrival. Tourists who come to local resorts on vouchers will not be affected by this rule. Upon arrival, travelers are given a PCR test, and if it gives a positive result, the foreigner will be forced to be isolated.
Previously, the period of mandatory isolation in observatories was seven days. According to official data, in July, Cuba updated the daily anti-record for the number of people infected with coronavirus seven times.
