Kuwait, suffering from heat +73, was shown on video: even cars are melting

In Kuwait, the air temperature in the sun rose to + 73 degrees Celsius. Because of this, the plastic parts of the cars began to melt. Footage of the disaster was published by the Al-Jazeera TV channel.

According to Kuwaiti weather forecasters, such a heat, which is now established in the country, has not been observed for the last 70 years. In the shade, the thermometers show +54 Celsius. In the sun, the readings reach +73 degrees.

The footage published by the channel shows that plastic products can not withstand the scorching heat and melt. So, the bumpers and headlights of cars parked in the sun literally flow down to the asphalt. Traffic lights also cannot resist the heat and crumble under their own weight.

The authorities of Kuwait urge residents not to be in the sun and not to allow dehydration of the body. Also, citizens of the country are strongly recommended to reduce electricity consumption, as well as, if possible, replace old air conditioners, because of which the power grids in large cities do not withstand the load, with modern devices.

People are also reminded that gadgets and devices left in the heat can fail due to severe overheating.
