A multi-story building partially collapsed on June 24 in the city of Surfside, which is part of the Miami metropolitan area. The authorities reported that about half of the 130 apartments located in it were destroyed.
The number of victims of the collapse of the house has increased to 24 people. Another 124 people remain missing.
