Near the Romanian city of Constanta, an explosion occurred at the country's largest oil refinery вЂњPetromidiaвЂќ.

An explosion at an oil refinery, accompanied by a large fire, occurred around noon 25 km north of Constanta.
A high column of smoke is visible from the beaches of Mamaia and other nearby cities, including Constanta, where residents also reported hearing a loud explosion before they saw the smoke.
Eight fire trucks, two ambulances, and one mobile intensive care unit were sent to the scene of the incident. According to preliminary data, two people were injured as a result of the explosion.
вЂњPeople have burned faces, nothing serious. We are assessing the situation. Tourists are not affected by this, " said the prefect of the Constanta district, Silviu Cosa.
Nothing is yet known about the causes of the explosion.
Romanian Interior Minister Lucian Bode is expected to arrive at the scene.
