US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken met with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris. The parties discussed relations with Russia and the aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. This was announced on Friday, June 25, according to the website of the US State Department.
It is noted that during the meeting, representatives of the United States and France noted that they are not against stable and predictable relations with Russia. However, both countries will counteract the aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.

Blinken and Macron also discussed transatlantic cooperation in the fight against the coercive economic practices of the People's Republic of China and attempts to undermine the rules-based international order.
They also talked about countering terrorist threats, supporting democracy, and joint efforts to increase the potential of African partners in the Sahel region.
