The agreement on cooperation in the framework of the program for the development of the Moon, called вЂњArtemisвЂќ, was signed with the United States by Brazil. This was reported on June 15 in the press service of the US State Department.
The report notes that Secretary of State Anthony Blinken congratulated the Brazilian authorities on signing the agreement.
He stressed that Washington hopes that cooperation in space with the inclusion of new international and commercial partners will continue.
In a statement, the ministry also said that Brazil became the first country in South America to agree to participate in the Artemis program.
