The American and Russian presidents do not plan to make joint statements on the results of the summit yet
US and Russian Presidents Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin are not yet planning a joint press conference after the summit in Geneva next week.
This is reported by CNN with reference to US officials.
But U.S. officials who are preparing the meeting said they plan to discuss the details, structure, and format of the summit with their Russian counterparts hours before it begins.
National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said earlier this week that details such as a joint press conference were still being discussed.
“All this is still being worked out,” he said.
