U.S. prices rise faster under Biden than under Trump




Last year, under Trump, the US economy showed a record decline, but inflation accelerated to the highest in 13 years already under Biden.





At the end of May, consumer prices in the United States increased by 5% in annual terms, according to data from the Ministry of Labor of the country.

Thus, the rate of inflation accelerated from 4.2% in April and became the highest since August 2008.

Experts predicted a 4.7% rise in consumer prices in May.

Note that such inflation did not even occur in the coronavirus year under President Donald Trump, although at the end of 2020, the US economy shrank by 3.5%, which is the worst indicator since the Second World War.
