The American leader and the Secretary-General of the North Atlantic Alliance will hold talks a week before the NATO summit in Brussels.
US President Joe Biden and NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg will meet in Washington on June 7, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said at a briefing on Friday, June 4.
According to her, during the talks, which will be held at the White House, the parties will first discuss the details of the NATO summit, which will be held in Brussels on June 14.
Biden and Stoltenberg will also discuss strengthening transatlantic cooperation вЂњin the face of challenges from Russia and ChinaвЂќ and a number of other security-related topics.
Earlier, the NATO Secretary-General announced nine key items on the agenda of the upcoming summit. These include supporting partner countries, climate change, and defense investment.
