California seeks an intern to test marijuana

A Los Angeles, California-based marijuana delivery service hires a paid intern for three months to test its products and write reviews. This is reported by USA Today.

Emjay CEO Chris Vaughn told the publication that his marijuana-growing company wants to “turn this into a really fun experience.”

“We need to try new products. We need to see what's good and what we think people will like. We should write reviews on this, “Vaughn said, adding that” it could be a great summer internship.”

For the work, you will be paid $15 per hour at the rate of up to 16 hours per week. Applicants must attach a one-page sample letter or video of fewer than 4 minutes and 20 seconds in length, detailing why they are ideally suited for the role. Those who wish to apply must be at least 21 years old and be a resident of California. The company is also looking for people “with experience”.

“It really has to be someone who is very knowledgeable about how certain things affect their body. This is someone who is really attuned to the effects, but more importantly, can clearly communicate, capture the exact impact and effect, “ Vaughn said.

In 2018, California became the largest U.S. state to legalize the use of marijuana for recreational purposes — since then, residents over the age of 21 have the right to store up to one ounce (about 28 grams) of cannabis or grow up to six cannabis plants at home.
