In Android, found a hidden feature that Google did not tell about

In Android 12, a secret feature was discovered, with which you can, in particular, configure the optimization of the device in games. This is reported by the publication BGR.

We are talking about a hidden game mode, which is located in the settings menu “Digital Well-being”. To access it, you need to open the section “Digital Well-being-Do not disturb-Schedules”.

In the menu that opens, you will see a section where you can configure device optimization in games, start streaming to YouTube, and display a frame-per-second counter.

Earlier, researchers from Check Point Research reported the discovery of a number of serious problems in the configuration of popular Android applications, which caused the data of 100 million users to be open for collection. We are talking about 23 popular programs, including an application for calling a taxi, a photo editor, a service for recording the screen, etc. Check Point revealed just five of them — Screen Recorder, iFax, Astro Guru, Logo Maker, and T'Leva. The number of downloads of these applications in Google Play varies from 10 thousand to 10 million.
