Biden unveils record-breaking $6 trillion U.S. budget bill

The US state budget for 2022 provides for an increase in the expenditure part almost four times — up to $6 trillion. This follows from the detailed draft of the country's main financial document for the next reporting year.

The proposed defense spending remained in its original version — $753 billion, including $715 billion directly for the Pentagon. This is 12.5 billion more than in the previous fiscal year.

As for revenues, they, according to the project, should amount to 4.17 trillion dollars. Revenue is expected to increase due to an increase in the tax burden on businesses and individuals with high incomes.

If the budget is adopted in this form, its volume will be the highest since the end of the Second World War. However, usually, the figures indicated in the document are adjusted.
