The EU offered Belarus billions of euros for a change of power

The European Commission has developed a plan for economic assistance to Belarus and is ready to transfer about three billion euros to the country, provided that the country is headed by a new leader.

It is claimed that Brussels intends to allocate these funds for the implementation of political and economic reforms in the country. The support will be provided with the participation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the European Investment Bank (EIB), the World Bank, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Previously, the EU plan was divided into four main stages, including restoring the country's economy, supporting structural reforms and raising the competitiveness of Minsk, channeling funds into environmental, digital transformation, and infrastructure of the state, as well as strengthening political relations with the country.
