Jennifer Aniston spoke warmly about Brad Pitt during an interview

On May 27, the long-awaited special “Friends” is released on the streaming service HBO Max, filmed 17 years after the last season of the popular sitcom was shown. Ahead of the show's premiere, Jennifer Aniston, who played Rachel, Courteney Cox (Monica) and Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe) spoke to Access Hollywood. The interviewer asked which of the guest stars of the series they enjoyed working with, and Jennifer mentioned the name of her ex-husband, Brad Pitt.

“He was wonderful, just fantastic,” Aniston admitted. Pitt appeared in a cameo role in the eighth season of the series. He played a school friend of Ross Will, who harbors a grudge against the heroine of Aniston Rachel.

Recall that Aniston and Pitt were together in the early noughties and were married for five years. In 2005, the actor began dating his partner in the film “Mr. and Mr. Smith” Angelina Jolie. That same year, he and Aniston filed for divorce.

In 2015, Aniston married actor Justin Theroux. In 2018, two years after Jolie and Pitt split, they announced their divorce. When Aniston and Pitt were free, the network with enviable persistence began to circulate rumors that they allegedly got back together.

The actors did indeed resume communication: Pitt was on the guestlist for Aniston's birthday party, in addition, the couple warmly communicated on the red carpet of the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2020.

However, their relationship did not go beyond friendship. Last year, Pitt had a brief affair with 28-year-old German model Nicole Poturalski. As for Aniston, nothing is known about her personal life after her divorce from Theroux.

Guest stars will also be involved in the special: David Beckham, Justin Bieber (he will appear in a giant potato costume), South Korean pop group BTS, Reese Witherspoon, Cindy Crawford, and many others took part in the shooting. However, among the guest stars, there was not a single black man, which is why the creators of the special issue were accused of racism.

The special edition of “Friends” is timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the series release. It was supposed to be released in May last year, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, filming was repeatedly postponed.
