Lukashenko promised to land Biden's plane in Minsk

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has promised to land the plane of American leader Joe Biden if he arrives in Minsk for talks with Vladimir Putin. A video of Lukashenko's speech at a meeting with parliamentarians and representatives of government bodies was published in the Telegram channel ONT NEWS.

“Well, maybe he'll take his chances. We can easily land a plane. We have a runway. Two strips, any runway,” said Lukashenko, causing applause and laughter in the audience.

The Belarusian leader promised to raise three fighter jets to escort the US president flying from Switzerland from the border with Poland.

“We will put three: two on the side and one in the tail. For safety, we can also secure the bottom. Because if the MANPADS are on the landing, then our fighter jet will bring it directly to the runway. Therefore, you are welcome, we are waiting for him in Belarus, “ Lukashenko said.

According to Lukashenko, if Putin and Biden want to discuss the situation in Belarus, they can come to Minsk. The head of the republic promised to meet his colleagues with dignity and listen to “all the nasty things” that White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki will write to Biden, and he will repeat to him.

“There will be a frank conversation. And to sit in Switzerland and teach Putin about the problems of Belarus is ridiculous, “ the politician concluded.
