The politician “wants royalty-like payments” and is not considering taking a stake in the business
Former U.S. President Donald Trump is in talks with several developers of social networks on possible cooperation.
This was reported by The Wall Street Journal.
The politician expects that the companies concerned will pay him for the subscribers he can bring them. The former head of state had nearly 89 million followers on Twitter.
The publication's source said Trump “wants money like royalties” and is not considering taking a stake in the business. Among the social networks, with whose owners the politician was in talks, WSJ names the networks CloutHub and FreeSpace.
Recall that on January 7, Facebook and Instagram blocked Donald Trump's accounts because of the storming of the Capitol by his supporters. And on January 9, the social network Twitter permanently blocked the account @realDonaldTrump.
In addition, it was recently reported that the Facebook oversight board decided to keep blocking Trump's Facebook and Instagram accounts.
