An investigation has been launched against Prime Minister Boris Johnson because of his luxury vacation in the Caribbean in 2019. The holiday was allegedly paid for by a Conservative Party donor.
It is noted that at the end of 2019, already in the status of head of government, Johnson, along with his girlfriend, spent 10 days in a luxury villa, worth 15 thousand pounds. This luxury vacation was allegedly paid for by one of the donors of the Conservative Party. Now a parliamentary committee wants to find out the details of Johnson's Caribbean vacation.
This is not the first corruption investigation involving the head of the British government. At the end of April, the UK Electoral Commission began checking the funding for repairs to the Prime Minister's residence.
