Near the Russian border, the largest US exercise in 25 years continues
At the borders of Russia, the largest US Swift Response exercise in a quarter of a century continues. The maneuvers take place on the territory of Estonia. A large contingent of American paratroopers landed there.
In total, more than 700 soldiers of the 82nd Division of the US Airborne Forces arrived in Estonia from North Carolina.
Military equipment and equipment were also dropped from the air. Transport planes carried out this operation at night in conditions as close to combat as possible.

Over the next few days, the exercises will also cover Bulgaria and Romania. In total, they involve 7,000 paratroopers from the United States and ten other NATO countries.
