In Germany, more than 14 cases of death due to thrombosis after vaccination with Vaxzevria and AstraZeneca are known. This became known from the report of the Paul Ehrlich Institute for the Development of Vaccines and Biomedical Medicines.
Based on the document, a total of at least 67 probable cases of thrombosis were recorded. In most cases (67%), it was a question of thrombosis of the sinuses of the dura mater, which caused the death of at least 14 people.
At the beginning of the year, the AstraZeneca vaccine was caught in a series of scandals. Several European countries have suspended or restricted the vaccination campaign with the drug. The reason was a possible link between the formation of blood clots, allergic reactions, and vaccination.
