More than 80 protesters are missing in Colombia

In Colombia, 89 people who took part in the protests went missing. This is reported by the Noticias Caracol TV channel with reference to the data of the office of the Commissioner for Human Rights.

The largest number of reported disappearances was recorded in the city of Cali — 35 cases.

It is noted that this information was transferred to the commission on the search for missing persons.

In addition, an investigation into the deaths of 19 citizens has been requested.

Earlier, demonstrations against tax reform began throughout Colombia. As a result, riots were observed in Bogota, Cali, Medellin, as well as other cities. On Friday, April 30, the authorities agreed to change the text of the reform.

Before that, a bomb exploded in the Colombian municipality near the city hall. It was previously established that there were 17 victims. People received various injuries in severity and are in the hospital. Most of the wounded are administration employees.
