Bomb found at Istanbul train station




Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said that police found an explosive device at a bus station in Istanbul, Hurriyet reports.





According to him, members of the banned Kurdistan Workers ' Party (PKK) brought 5 kg of explosives. The device was found in the car, it was managed to neutralize.

He explained that the attack was prevented as a result of the vigilance of the police and the work of the intelligence services. As a result of the operation, two people were detained.

“There were thousands of people there. Those who planted the explosives are caught, “ Soylu said.

Earlier, the Turkish armed forces launched a new operation “Tiger's Claw” against the outlawed Kurdistan Workers ' Party (PKK) in the Iraqi region of Haftanin. The operation will involve aircraft, T129 ATAK helicopters, and attack drones.
