In the US, they announced new attacks by hackers from Russia

Russian cyber operations pose a long-term threat to the United States, according to US security services.

The FBI, the US Department of Homeland Security, and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency (CISA) have all claimed Russian involvement in hacking US government networks. This is stated in the CISA document published on Monday, April 26.

Hackers of the Russian special services “will continue to seek access to classified information of the United States and foreign organizations” and will use “various sophisticated techniques,” the US said, adding that the focus of such hackers is “ government networks, expert centers, and information technology companies.”

US intelligence agencies have warned that Russian cyber operations pose a long-term threat to the United States — hackers since 2018 have moved from the spread of malware to the tactics of hacking “cloud” resources, e-mail.

“Operations against cloud resources are likely to reduce the risk of detection through the use of compromised accounts and system failures," the report said.

Earlier, Sweden accused Russia of a cyberattack on the Sports Confederation. The cyberattacks targeted national and international anti-doping organizations, the Swedish Prosecutor's Office said.

The media also reported on the hacking of Merkel's party in the Bundestag by hackers from the Russian Federation. Now law enforcement officers in Germany are checking the involvement of the GRU in a cyberattack on deputies, writes Spiegel.
