Twitter has a new massive malfunction

A failure in the work of the social network Twitter is observed in several countries, it follows from the data of the Downdetector service, which tracks the work of popular Internet resources.

Residents of the USA, Great Britain, Japan, and Russia are most actively reporting problems.

According to the service, 46% of users can’t access the social network site. Another 34% experience problems with the application for the iPhone or iPad, and 18% — with the application on the Android platform.

Previously, users reported a malfunction on Instagram and Facebook.

As you know, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, although they look like separate social networks, these days they are increasingly using a common architecture and are interconnected. Facebook reportedly strengthens managerial control over other platforms: a former developer of the famous messenger warned of monopoly.

We add that recently, due to a failure, the oldest social network accidentally deleted user data for 12 years. Also, Facebook recently deleted more than 3 billion fake accounts for half a year.

Recall that this summer the Federal Trade Commission of the United States fined Facebook for $5 billion for violating the rules regarding confidential user data.
