The decrease in morbidity is associated with a successful vaccination campaign

In Israel, they began to close the departments of hospitals intended for patients with coronavirus.

This is reported by Ynet.

This decision is due to the fact that medical institutions do not receive patients with COVID-19. So, on March 30, the Rambam hospital did not accept any new patients, although, in the past months, 15 people were hospitalized in the covid department every day.

On March 30, Shiba and Beilinson hospitals received one covid patient each. At the same time, during the peak of the pandemic, 20-30 people were hospitalized there every day.

A similar situation is observed throughout the country. According to the Israeli Ministry of Health, less than 400 people are currently being treated for COVID-19.

A sharp decline in the incidence of the disease is associated with a successful campaign to immunize the population. In Israel, more than half of the citizens are fully vaccinated.

Recall, Israeli scientists have found that vaccination against coronavirus does not cause serious side effects in children.
