Incorrect information distributed among Spanish WhatsApp users provoked a queue at the coronavirus vaccination center in Seville.
On Thursday morning, about two thousand Spanish citizens, most over the age of 80, received a message from the Ministry of Health about the need to get vaccinated. Meanwhile, the rumor about the invitation to the vaccination spread around the city, and about four thousand more people came without an invitation.
Only in the afternoon, the regional government of Andalusia announced on Twitter that previously sent messages contain incorrect information.
It is noted that a large crowd of people prevented an orderly vaccination process.
