Not a single astronaut: Musk showed the first civilian crew of SpaceX

The American space company SpaceX has announced the first-ever crew for an off-planet flight that does not include a single professional astronaut.

This is stated in a video posted on the company's YouTube channel on March 30.

The first civilian crew of SpaceX Inspiration4 includes two men and two women:

- Commander – American businessman Jared Isaacman;
- Nias Proctor Female Research Pilot;
- Flight Medical Officer Haley Arsenox;
- flight engineer-Air Force veteran and employee of the Lockheed Martin Defense Corporation Christopher Sembroski.

Before the flight, the mission members will be thoroughly prepared at SpaceX.

As expected, they will go to the stars before the end of the year. They will be launched into space by a Falcon 9 launch vehicle, and the flight itself will last three days.

The project is sponsored by 38-year-old Isaakman – he fully paid for the flight. Thanks to his participation, he is going to raise at least $ 200 million for the St. Petersburg Children's Clinic. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Tennessee.

The team recruited those who would make the largest donation.

Recall that today SpaceX conducted flight tests of the prototype of the Starship SN11 spacecraft. The explosion of the device was captured on video.
