Moderna has started testing the coronavirus vaccine on children. The tests involved 7 thousand of children aged 6 months to 11 years from the United States and Canada.

The vaccine will be tested in two stages: at the first stage, participants aged 2 to 11 years will be vaccinated, and at the second stage, children aged 6 months to 2 years will be vaccinated.
The children will be monitored for 12 months after the second dose. It is administered after 28 days, after receiving the first one. Testing will last about 14 months.
This study is expected to evaluate the safety, tolerability, reactogenicity, and efficacy of two doses of the vaccine for children.
