The entire adult population received two doses of the vaccine
The British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar was the first in the world to complete the coronavirus vaccination.
This was stated by UK Health Minister Matt Hancock, reports The Telegraph.
Both doses of the vaccine were received by about 26 thousand residents of the territory aged 18 years and older. The drug was shipped from the UK.
Note that the total population of Gibraltar is 35 thousand people. The factors of rapid vaccination were the small number of inhabitants, a small area, and an uninterrupted supply of vaccines from Britain.
Recall that Israel is among the leaders in vaccination. In the country, 5.1 million people received the first dose and 4.4 million received the second.
