The priority for Biden is to vaccinate the American population against coronavirus, his spokeswoman said.

The US government has received requests for a coronavirus vaccine from countries around the world, but so far none of them has been met. This was announced on Sunday, March 14, by White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, according to CNN.

“There were requests from all over the world, of course, from a number of countries that requested the vaccine, and we did not provide anyone with a dose from the government. This is not about Europe, but about our focus and priorities. In our country, 1,400 people still die every day, “ Psaki explained.

According to her, it is more important for President Joe Biden to provide COVID-vaccination for the American population than to supply drugs to other countries.

At the same time, Psaki stressed, American pharmaceutical companies, having contracts with the US government, can conclude agreements with other states.

According to the TV channel, 105.7 million doses of coronavirus vaccines have already been introduced to residents of the States. For this purpose, the country uses drugs from Moderna, Pfizer/BioNTech, Johnson&Johnson, as well as AstraZeneca.

Earlier, a number of European countries suspended public immunization campaigns against COVID-19 with the AstraZeneca vaccine due to the formation of blood clots in the blood of vaccinated residents.

In this regard, the company said that their drug is not more dangerous than other vaccines.
