A former Apple employee provided information about the company's new developments to a familiar media employee.

According to The Verge, in exchange, he asked a journalist to write articles to promote his startup.

Apple has filed a lawsuit against its former employee. It turned out that he was downloading documents on new developments and other information and passing it on to the journalist.

The employee has worked for the company for about 11 years. Even after submitting his resignation letter, he went to a meeting on a secret new project for the company.

“We take very seriously this person's intentional theft of our trade secrets, violation of our code of ethics, and our policies for personal gain. We will do everything in our power to protect our innovations,” Apple said.

Recently, hackers from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea tried to hack into Pfizer's servers to obtain data on the COVID vaccine.

In addition, in November 2020, hackers from North Korea were suspected of attacking the vaccine manufacturer AstraZeneca. They sent the company's employees a document that contained “malicious code to access the interlocutor's computer.”
