Already from the weekend on bank accounts of Americans will begin to receive $1,400

US President Joe Biden signed into law an additional $1.9 trillion in America's Salvation Plan, which Congress had previously passed.

The signing of the document was filmed and broadcast on the official Twitter page of the American leader.

“This historic law aims to restore the core of this country and give the people of this country, the workers, the middle class, the people who built this country a chance to win,” Biden said.

The stimulus plan calls for direct payments of up to $1,400 to American citizens, who earn up to $80,000 a year, excluding taxes. The money will begin to flow into American bank accounts this weekend.

In addition, until September 6, additional payments of $300 are introduced to insurance payments for unemployment, and for child benefits — for the entire next year.

Also, almost $20 billion will be spent on the purchase of vaccines against coronavirus, 25 billion — to help with housing rent and utilities, and 350 billion — to help local authorities.

It is worth noting that the US federal budget for 2021 is $2.3 trillion, including $900 billion in economic support.

Last year, the administration of former President Donald Trump pushed Congress to pass a $2 trillion aid package.
