According to the newspaper, a small plane crashed on Tuesday evening shortly after takeoff from the Pieri airstrip in Uror County.

A local official said the plane was heading to Yuai City and was rented by businessmen.

“He arrived from Juba and landed at Pieri at 15:30. And then he took off at 16:30, he was supposed to go to Yuai before flying to Juba. But he crashed shortly after takeoff, killing all 10 people. onboard, “he said.

The cause of the plane crash is still unknown, the airline does not know at all what happened to the plane.

“Yes, we had a plane that was leaving, but it has not returned so far (19:30). The airport said the plane did not arrive, but it was supposed to return to Juba tonight. We do not know what happened.” — said the general manager of South Supreme Airlines.
