Conspiracy Theory: Texans Shoot “Fake Snow”

Conspiracy theorists are massively sharing videos on social media about the alleged “fake snow” that fell in Texas.

Residents of the American state of Texas are actively publishing videos on social networks with supposedly synthetic snow, which burns instead of melting.

In their videos, users claim that the snowfall was “fake” and “caused by the government” as part of a government conspiracy.

As proof, users show that when you bring fire to the snow, the snow burns, not melt.

The hashtag #governmentsnow (government snow) has over 1 million views on TikTok.

We will remind you, the southern territories of the USA were covered by the strongest snowstorm, taking the lives of dozens of people and leaving millions of people without electricity and heat.
