Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza declared the European Ambassador to the country Isabel Brillante persona non grata. This is reported by Reuters.
According to him, the ambassador received a notification about the relevant decision of the President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro.
He noted that the head of the European diplomatic mission has 72 hours to leave the country.
This decision was made against the background of sanctions imposed by Europe against 19 officials of the Bolivarian Republic.
Earlier, the EU stopped calling the leader of the Venezuelan opposition, Juan Guaido, the interim president of Venezuela.
