Google has released the first test version of Android 12

Over the past couple of weeks, there has been a lot of talk on the web about the imminent release of the first beta of Android 12. And Google did not let us down with this-the company really released the first test build for developers of its new OS.

Judging by what was found in Android 12 at the time of writing the news, the search giant decided to focus on minor fixes. According to 9to5Google, now in the menu, you can “hide” the cutout in the display — thus the company returned the opportunity that existed in the operating system back in the days of Google Pixel 3.

The “Camera Lock” icon also appeared in the Quick Access toolbar. Apparently, the company still intends to go in the direction of improving the privacy of its operating system.

Also, the curious eyes of the first testers came across a modified notification design in Android 12 — everything is exactly as demonstrated by previous leaks.

Owners of the company's branded smartphones can download and try the first beta of the new Android. The update is available for Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 3a, and later.
